This is Sirius

The Sirius Foundation is presenting This is Sirius, an exhibition celebrating Sirius and its residents. The exhibition will be presented in the Annie Wyatt Room, a recently restored heritage room in the National Trust Centre on Observatory Hill.

Three years ago, the residents of Sirius were told they were being relocated and the building was to be sold. The NSW government has refused heritage protection for Sirius and has called for its demolition. The Save Our Sirius campaign is aiming to save the Sirius building and retain a significant portion of it for social housing. The campaign has been supported by the unions which have imposed a new Green Ban on Sirius and now people are making artworks to celebrate the building and its residents.
